Survey and Design
Our surveyor will visit your property and discuss your requirements with you and advise you on the various options available to you and your property.
Our structural engineer will calculate exactly what needs to be added to your property to enable your loft to be converted. A set of architects plans will then be drawn up for you to view. Should you wish to make any amendments we can discuss them with you and alter the plans accordingly.

Planning and Regulations
Most loft conversions rarely require planning permission. Building regulations are always required when converting your loft.
A roofline conversion doesn’t alter the shape of the roof on the outside. Velux windows are installed to provide you with light and ventilation.
A dormer loft conversion sometimes requires planning permission if on the front/roadside of your property or in a conservation area. There are various types of dormer loft conversion which involves extending the outside structure of the roof which creates much needed headroom and space enabling you to get the most out of your loft conversion.
Building regulations are required on every loft conversion and we can provide a building inspector for you and deal with all planning applications that are necessary.
Construction
Your loft will be converted by experienced qualified tradesmen. Our plumbers are all gas safe corgi registered and our electricians are all NICEIC registered. All their work will be signed off with a safety certificate. Our bespoke staircases are designed and made by craftsmen and they can be made to match your existing stairs as can all the joinery on the loft conversion.
At Bespoke we offer a complete package and as well as converting your loft we can add all the finishing touches including fully fitted en suite bathrooms, floor coverings and decoration to meet your needs.
Products and materials
All the materials used are of the highest quality. The building control officer and structural engineer will specify certain specifications for some of the materials with which to build the main structure of the loft conversion which we adhere to intently. All of our upvc windows are fitted with double glazing and are manufactured by a Fensa registered company. The insulation we put into the loft always complies with the building control officers requirements and should you wish to have additional insulation put in we would be happy to discuss this with you. We only use VELUX windows on our loft conversions as we believe that there is no other company on the market that can match their quality and durability.
